This is a time when children begin their journey towards personal growth and preparation for life. Students are challenged to meet academic standards which require discipline and hard work. At Arenales Summit, we are committed to implementing the best educational practices to help each student to not only excel academically, but also motivate them to become leaders. We are aware that times are changing and that the younger generations’ learning abilities call for new teaching strategies. We are not afraid of innovation, which is why we design our classrooms to promote collaborative work and interaction. Academic subjects are reinforced through STEM and Learning Centers.

Programs

Language Stimulation

With creative learning spaces, we design free-play scenarios where children manipulate, experiment, and enjoy different materials while experiencing highly enriching sensory activities.

It is a carefully prepared and aesthetically appealing environment that encourages children to engage and initiate play, which is vital at this stage for their overall development and allows them to unleash their creativity.

Neuromotor Development

Based on neuroscience research, we implement basic movement patterns daily to support the proper maturation of the nervous system. This process helps form and strengthen neural connections, structuring the brain and facilitating future learning. Additionally, we participate in a Neuroscience and Education Program led by the Community of Madrid, in collaboration with researcher Dr. Tomás Ortiz. This program applies knowledge of brain function to enhance the teaching and learning processes for our students.

Mathematical Logic

With the ENTUSIASMAT program, based on Multiple Intelligences, students learn and enjoy mathematics through experimentation and hands-on activities. This approach helps them develop strategies and skills that they can apply in real-life situations.

Emotional Development

We help our students understand themselves and manage their emotions. This includes awareness of their own abilities, limitations, intentions, motivations, fears, and desires. In this way, we aim to prepare our students for life in society, fostering empathy and enabling them to interact effectively with others.

Education in Value

Habits are encouraged to help each student achieve personal maturity. Values such as hard work, sincerity, and joy are essential in human development. Personal and social responsibility, relationships with others, understanding, respect, generosity, collaboration, and teamwork are all actively promoted.

What identifies us at Arenales Summit School?

We are a school that belongs to the Arenales Educational Network. Here we seek academic excellence, but also human excellence, because a good person is usually a good professional. What does it mean that the Arenales Summit school belongs to Arenales Red Educativa?

Arenales Summit is part of the Arenales Educational Network. Currently the network is made up of more than 30 educational centers distributed throughout the world. All of them assume a model of competencies and values ​​called IAM (Innovation, Autonomy, Mentoring). As well as incorporating the code of good practices, the internal regulations and the equality plan. All of them documents that have their origin in years of experience and seek to guarantee equity, inclusion and equality.

What is the IAM model?

IAM is a transformation program with which we seek to be cutting-edge educational centers in the 21st century. Autonomy: we help each of our students to take control of their lives, to be autonomous people. How is the IAM program applied at the Arenales Summit school?

Innovation: Through the iPad initiative, the integration of technology in education is achieved. As well as a “Mobile Learning” digital curriculum development plan throughout all stages. Autonomy: We promote education in soft skills: the development of public speaking, leadership skills, development of emotional thinking, creative thinking and first aid, etc. Mentoring: Through personal tutoring between the teacher and the student, to help them know themselves better, to develop social skills, to take advantage of their talents, to build their self-esteem, and to be autonomously happy.
