Who we are

Arenales Summit is the first school in Puerto Rico to adopt the Personalized Learning philosophy, focusing on holistic education that addresses physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual development, so that students can become qualified professionals and responsible leaders in their society.

To achieve this, we offer various programs tailored to the different learning paces of students and an Emotional Affection Development Project. The Association for Integral Education, a non-profit organization, is the promoter of this school.

We are co-educators alongside the parents of each student, providing support to shape their children’s character, intellectual ability, and sense of morality. Arenales Summit’s goal is the personal growth of each student: from intellectual well-being to spiritual, social, emotional, and physical development.

At Arenales Summit, every student counts for their uniqueness and individual potential. We believe that children should be considered for what they are and not for what they accomplish. We aim to help them thrive in being the best they can be as human beings. Teachers team up with each student and parents to work on their individual growth.

We implement innovative modern standards that are adjusted to the younger generations’ learning capacities. As a new school, our teachers use the latest educational methods, which include hands-on and interactive learning, collaborative work and tech-based solutions, to motivate students’ critical thinking. Our classrooms are designed to create an environment where students feel comfortable to be themselves and form part of a wider community. Our dedicated teachers are fully committed to comply with all subject courses as required by our State Department.

The faculty works hand-in-hand with parents to meet the needs of each student and provide efficient support in their child’s educational and personal development.

Human Values & Catholic Identity

As part of our educational approach, we introduce students to important values that pave the journey towards their character building and spiritual growth. Although we respect every families’ convictions, our School life is deeply rooted in the teachings of the Catholic faith on human dignity and the transcendental meaning of life.

Arenales Red Educativa

Arenales Red Educativa is an international network of affiliated educational centers, which began its journey in 2009 with the aim of providing its students with a high-level academic education and promoting values related to quality work, carried out from a service-oriented perspective towards others.

Thousands of families have trusted our work, in an education that is sensitive to new methodologies, such as Multiple Intelligences and Creative Critical Thinking.

What identifies us at Arenales Summit School?

We are a school that belongs to the Arenales Educational Network. Here we seek academic excellence, but also human excellence, because a good person is usually a good professional. That is why respect for others, for oneself, and a job well done, are human and Christian values ​​that we instill in our students with the help of their parents. We have the ambitious goal of serving society, families and students.

What does it mean that the Arenales Summit school belongs to Arenales Red Educativa?

Arenales Summit is part of the Arenales Educational Network. Currently the network is made up of more than 30 educational centers distributed throughout the world. All of them assume a model of competencies and values ​​called IAM (Innovation, Autonomy, Mentoring). As well as incorporating the code of good practices, the internal regulations and the equality plan. All of them documents that have their origin in years of experience and seek to guarantee equity, inclusion and equality.

What is the IAM model?

IAM is a transformation program with which we seek to be cutting-edge educational centers in the 21st century. This program is divided into three main axes: Innovation: we seek to be an open organization in permanent communication with the world in which we live. Autonomy: we help each of our students to take control of their lives, to be autonomous people. Mentoring: each person is the protagonist of their own education and, at the same time, collaborates with that of others.

How is the IAM program applied at the Arenales Summit school?

Innovation: Through the iPad initiative, the integration of technology in education is achieved. As well as a “Mobile Learning” digital curriculum development plan throughout all stages. Autonomy: We promote education in soft skills: the development of public speaking, leadership skills, development of emotional thinking, creative thinking and first aid, etc. Mentoring: Through personal tutoring between the teacher and the student, to help them know themselves better, to develop social skills, to take advantage of their talents, to build their self-esteem, and to be autonomously happy.
